ENG • A while ago we were hired by In Bloom by Jonquil, a division of MGT industries, that produces lingerie and sleeping clothes for Sacks, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom, among others. The goal was to produce a shoot in location for a new collection called “Indian Summer”. The chosen place for the photographies was the famous Californian location: the Venice Beach canals and surrounding areas. Me, the fashion designer Diane Samandi, and the gorgeous model Carly D. Stone, that is running for Miss California, went down to the canals and spent the day shooting under natural light, with the help of a bouncer and some eventual speed-light for fill. POR • Algum tempo atrás fomos contratados pela In Bloom by Jonquil, uma divisão da MGT Industries, que produz lingeries e trajes de dormir para a Sacks, Bloomindales e Nordstrom, entre outras. O objetivo era produzir um ensaio fotográfico em locação para uma nova coleção chamada ” Indian Summer”. O lugar escolhido foi a famosa locação californiana: os canais de Venice Beach e arredores. Eu, a fashion designer Diane Samandi e a bela modelo Carly D. Stone, que está concorrendo a Miss California, fomos até os canais e passamos o dia fotografando sob luz natural, com ajuda de rebatedores e, eventualmente, um flash para preenchimento.
