The Fire in the Winter music video, by Brazilian artist Matheus Baeta, is gaining international attention — and I’m proud to have served as both Director of Photography and Co-Producer on this powerful and visually expressive project.

Directed by César Raphael, the Fire in the Winter music video stands out for its blend of emotional storytelling and evocative visuals. Since its release, the piece has been nominated in three categories at the LAMV Awards (Los Angeles Music Video Awards) and recently featured in a published article by O Tempo, one of Brazil’s leading media outlets.

My role as Director of Photography involved crafting a visual language that could reflect the emotional weight of the song. We designed a cinematographic approach centered around expressive lighting, purposeful camera movement, and carefully composed imagery. In parallel, my work as Co-Producer extended through creative logistics, team coordination, and post-production supervision.

The Fire in the Winter music video is one of several collaborations that reflect my commitment to bold, narrative-driven visual storytelling across genres. From music videos to short films and documentaries, I strive to bring both artistic sensitivity and technical precision to every frame.

Beyond this project, I am actively open to collaborations, creative partnerships, and commissions — particularly in the realm of music videos, where I often take on not only cinematography but also the role of director and creative lead. Concept development, visual storytelling, performance direction, and aesthetic strategy are all key components of my process. These are also central topics in my academic work: I teach music video direction and visual design as part of my curriculum at SCAD, where I’m listed in the faculty directory.
